Student OrchestraThe orchestra offers the perfect combination of Chinese and western musical traditions. It will use the western orchestral base with classical classical western musical notation. Both Chinese and western instruments will be given lead roles within their selections and within the orchestra. Conductor Mr. Ren Guang was born in a family of conductors and graduated with a master's degree from the Vienna National Music Conservatory. Students aged 10-18 are invited to participate. Rehearsals are held at California Fei Tian Academy of the Arts on Sundays from 1-5pm. Please register for auditions by calling (415) 431-3161. |
