** Life Skills is a full-year course which combines career and technology training, library skills, home economics, safety, and health information for the middle school.  The school also takes various educational field trips throughout the year to support this information and reinforce content in academic and performing arts courses.

***Currently, Fei Tian Academy of the Arts California is enrolling students for its Dance, Music, and Fine Art programs. There is also a generalist program for students wishing to focus on academics. The Dance Program meets and even exceeds California’s standards for physical education. For each arts program, 3 units are offered every year. One unit is the equivalent of a 45-minute class every day for one year. More specific details about the Dance Program are contained in the course catalog.

****Algebra I is given in the 8th grade, but this is a high school level course and counts as one Math credit for High School Graduation Requirements.

The Chinese Literature and Chinese History courses are offered for students choosing to graduate with the Fei Tian Diploma.
