Congratulations Linda Lei, Alice Kuang, and Jocelyn Su for placing first, second, and third in the middle school Short Story category of the 2011 Young at Art Competition!
Formerly the San Francisco Youth Art Festival, the Young at Art Festival has been held annually for 25 years with the goal to encourage K-12th graders' interest in and production of visual, literary, media, and performing arts. There were over 2,000 entries in various categories this year. The awards presentation was held Saturday, May 21, 2011 in the De Young Museum.

Diana Mathias, their English teacher, said "This is such a great accomplishment for these students! We were excited and impressed when we read the contest entries – we saw a lot of talent in this school. I congratulate these students for their hard work in improving their ability to express their ideas and in nurturing their imagination. I know their parents are very proud!"
