Summer Session Begins!

Fei Tian Academy of the Arts California's annual summer camp sessions will begin on Monday, June 13, 2011. Students from the Bay area and other US regions will be joining us to participate in six half-day camp offerings. Camps are available in Chinese Classical Dance, Chinese (Mandarin), music, fine arts, SAT preparation, and ESL.

Fei Tian Academy of the Arts California has been open since March, 2010, and this is the second summer we are offering summer camp options. Last year, summer camp focused on Chinese Classical Dance students. While dance so far has remained the most popular, followed by Chinese, other camps have also responded to a need expressed by students and parents. The music and fine arts camps also reflect the school's developing and growing music and fine arts departments. The number of full time students in these departments has grown during the spring semester, especially the Music department.

Fei Tian will offer two summer sessions for 2011. The first 2011 summer session will last four weeks, from June 10th to July 8th. The second session will last five weeks, from July 11th to August 12th. Students may sign up for one session, two sessions, or both, and may sign up in one or two subjects. Most camps are half-day camps and may be attended in the morning or in the afternoon. ESL is a full-day camp, but includes several hours of dance and arts along with English-language development and culture classes. Students who cannot participate for an entire session may sign up on a weekly basis.
