ACT Standardized Test Scores

Congratulations to 8th, 9th, and 10th grade classes. Our 1st ACT standardized test scores for 2011 school year are out! PLAN Test scores ranked top 10% in the country (3x the national average). It is always amazing what students can accomplish once they put their minds to it.

Our academy is focused on the arts with students putting in many hours daily to refine their skills to a professional level. Our dance students especially train harder than typical high school varsity athletes. Yet even with all these extra physical demands our students were able to achieve an average composite score ranking in the Top 10 Percent of all students in the country taking the 10th grade PLAN Test and the 8th & 9th grade EXPLORE Test (both tests are created by the ACT organization).

These scores prove that our students can succeed and are well on their way to graduating and enrolling into universities.

The PLAN Test is for 10th grade students. The score range is 1-32. Fei Tian’s 10th grade students had an average composite s core of 23, which put them in the top 10% of all students in the country. The national average score was 17.8 for the Spring 2010 test.

The EXPLORE Test is for 8th and 9th grade students. The score range is 1-25. Fei Tian’s 9th grade students had an average composite score of 23, which put them in the top 10% of all students in the country. The national average score was 16.1 for the Fall 2009 test.
