ESL & American Culture Camp
This program is for students looking to increase their English language fluency and exploring American culture and receiving training on American university application. With three ability levels (basic, intermediate, and advanced) students will focus on the language skills of listening, speaking, reading, and writing along with developing a strong cross-cultural understanding. The basic and intermediate levels will contain practical lessons primarily for communication in English speaking countries. The advanced level will move into the use of academic language through studying authentic literature and poetry. Culture classes will focus on understanding American society and United States history. Students will take a placement exam on the first day of camp to determine their English ability level. There will be a drama performance at the end of camp conducted entirely in English. |
