Engage in the fundamentals of drawing and watercolor painting in this camp that hones essential skills for students interested in fine art. Learn drawing techniques and skills to produce realistic works of art representing three-dimensional spatial relationships accurately on two-dimensional planes. There will be daily lectures, demonstrations of technique, discussions, critiques, and workshops on art appreciation. Students will also take field trips to various scenic areas and museums in the bay area with their instructor to work on projects. Student work will be shown at an exhibition at the end of each session for all the families.

There is also an advance level program for experienced students seeking to prepare for entrance into a fine arts university. This advanced level program will include classes on oil painting. Interested students must provide copies/pictures of example works or a portfolio when applying. Limited space is available.
