SAT Preparation Camp
This rigorous academic program is for high school students eager to increase their SAT English and Mathematics test scores. The Mathematics component includes building a strong foundation in all levels of mathematics through mathematical discussions and applications. There will also be formula & concept review, practice questions, practice tests, and test taking strategies used to answer accurately in the least amount of time. The English component is based on solid literacy skills presented through discussions on classic literature, complex non-fiction articles, and poetry. It includes vocabulary development, grammar, text analysis, literary analysis, writers’ workshops to develop essay skills, practice tests, and test taking strategies. Students enrolled in this program will have homework and assigned reading. In order to keep class size manageable and allow for sufficient teacher attention, limited space is available for this program. Please register early. |
